Arsenal Beat Liverpool 3-1 to Close Gap in Premier League Title Race

Gunners Move Within Two Points of Leaders

Salah and Firmino Score Late for 10-Man Liverpool

LONDON, March 16 (Reuters) - Arsenal clinched a crucial 3-1 victory over 10-man Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, moving within two points of the Premier League leaders.

Liverpool, who had defender Emerson Royal sent off in the second half, saw their goals come from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, both scored late in the game. However, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Granit Xhaka scored in the first half to secure all three points for the Gunners.

The victory marks Arsenal's third consecutive win in the Premier League and extends their unbeaten streak to 15 games in all competitions. Liverpool, meanwhile, have now dropped points in three of their last four league matches.

The result leaves Arsenal in second place with 64 points from 27 games, while Liverpool remains top with 66 points from 28 games. Manchester City, who have a game in hand, are third with 63 points.
